Geotechnical Engineering Department

Over the past forty-plus years, McCallum has performed thousands of geotechnical studies in the Tidewater area of Virginia and North Carolina. Our drilling techniques are tailored to the conditions encountered in the Coastal Plain Geologic Province, the Piedmont Geologic Province further west, and the Ridge and Valley Geologic Provinces in the mountains of Virginia and North Carolina. Our engineering staff is thoroughly familiar with the full range of geologic and geotechnical considerations associated with these areas and work together to provide the most cost-effective solutions for our clients. We take pride in applying our decades of practical geotechnical experience and knowledge to every project, whether routine or complex, to save you time and money.
